If I have learned one thing from my travels it is that people are generally good. In my experience there have been far more times when people have stopped to help me when I needed it, far more people who have generously shared their homes, food and time, and far more people who have shown hope, love, or promoted goodness in this world rather than the alternatives. While traveling I have seen the light of humanity shine through strangers, just being kind to someone they have never met and with whom they have nothing in common with, other than the fact that we are both people.
